Entering Into A Journey

Matthew 7:13-14
"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

When we start our lives we are all beginning a journey, we all start somewhere. We are all given a choice of what to make of our lives, no matter what you think, you have a choice to rejoice with your lives or reject your life. This week we will be discussing our journeys and what we can make of them. Let's remember that we need to be being and doing, not just being.

I like how the message version says this verse;
"Don't look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don't fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do. The way of life--to God!--is vigorous and requires total attention."
Again we have a choice as to what we want to make of our Journey. What kind of a difference we make is up to us, not up to our past, not up to the resources and money we have, but the difference is up to us!! We have the complete choice on how we want to impact this world while in it. Now we must choose what gate are we going to travel through while taking our journey? What path are we going to take? What ship are we going to get on? Where do we plan on making a difference....in our lives or in someone else’s? Are we just being or are we being and doing?

Start today your journey and start it with complete passion and complete compassion to know you are choosing a path.
