Celebrating Christ's Love

John 15:13
“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”

The inescapable promise of Christmas is this: Christ loves us. Even though we are imperfect, fallible human beings, and even though we have fallen far short of God’s commandments, Christ’s love is perfect and steadfast. On the very first Christmas day, when God sent His Son to become the salvation of the world, He bestowed the ultimate gift, a gift that is beyond price and beyond human comprehension. We have not earned our salvation; even the best among us fall far short of God’s commandments. But when we accept Christ as our Savior, we are saved by God’s grace. As we celebrate His birth, let us accept Christ’s love and share His Good News. Christ’s love changes everything; may we, as believers, allow it to change everything in us.

John 12:46, “I have come as a light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me would not remain in the darkness.”

John 10:9, “I am the door. If any enters by Me, he will be saved.”

Matthew 28:20, “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
